Micheal Derwin

Micheal hails from Palmerston North, in New Zealand, and joined Skyz the Limit in 1997, playing bass and rhythm guitar, percussion and lead vocals.

Micheal toured extensively over the past six years, playing in New Caledonia, NZ, Northern Territory, Queensland - as far as Port Douglas, including in many inland towns, Mt Isa, Tenant Creek, Cairns, Cloncurry, including continuos touring throughout New South Wales.

Starting out in the hospitality/tourism industry, Micheal was extremely active in promotional work prior to embarking on his musical career.

During that time he honed his on stage ability by, calling club games and hosting interactive game shows and promotions. His voice has progressed from that early training to be complementary to the duo, in backing either the lead singer, singing harmony, or singing solo within the duo.
